Get in shape by groovin' your body. Hip-Hop; a type of dance that originated two decades ago on the streets of New York City, has evolved into a fun and challenging fitness workout. Unlike step classes or aerobic classes, hip hop will move your body in many different ways. You'll be continuously moving your arms in many directions, as well as stepping, hopping and spinning. Most movements require coordination and mobility and this is great stuff for developing your core muscles. Most of all, hip-hop can be very fun and if you become good with all these new moves and routines, Who knows; you may find yourself auditioning for Britney Spears in the future!
